Welcome to the Edina Rotary STRIVE website. Information on this site will help volunteers stay organized. It can also provide information for students families to help understand what STRIVE is and how it can help students achieve their goals.

The school year is going fast and we are proud to say that in this, our first year of STRIVE at Edina High School, students are making great strides. Improved academic performance is just one positive outcome that is apparent with this group of students. Students are empowered by their newly-acquired pride in good work, good attendance and self esteem. We mentors are very proud of each and every student in Edina STRIVE.
What Is STRIVE?
STRIVE is an in-school mentoring partnership between Edina High School and the Rotary Clubs of Edina. Students commit to improvement during the upcoming academic year in the following areas: academics, attendance and behavior. Sutdents also commit to participate in the STRIVE mentor connection, leadership development and post-secondary planning.
Who Is STRIVE For?
Students identified by Edina High School staff as needing help improving their academic performance. These students must be ready to reaffirm their commitment to attend class, attend STRIVE mentoring sessions, and complete their schoolwork.
Some students may be planning on going to college, others may not be sure yet …
But all students are about to move on to a new chapter in life and we mentors want to help!
